Conclusion Questions (REMEMBER TO ANSWER IN COMPLETE SENTENCES)

1.What is your visual metaphor about?

My visual metaphor is a "Chick Magnet" as to say I attract a multitude of women. For my visual metaphor I put a baby chick being magnetized being a metaphor for getting chicks.

2. What type of visual metaphor did you create (juxtaposition, fusion, and replacement). What characteristics does your design have that makes it this type of visual metaphor?

I used replacement for my visual metaphor. This is because what my design is being compared to is absent from the design

3. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes and keyboard commands as possible.

my first step was finding a small chick png on the internet, once I found one that i liked i traced over with the pen tool and curvuture pen tool.I did this multiple times on the image to get different angles and areas on the chicken, then I added in the magnet which I made from Using the letter "U" and creating outlines around it and reshaping it.I then added squiggly lines with the line tool to give the magnetism impression. After this I added in the text above and below and tagged in yellow outline, from here I added in cutline and exported my design.

4.What was the easiest and what was the most challenging part of creating your visual metaphor t-shirt design?

The easiest part was brainstorming the design because it immediately came to me what I wanted to do,The hardest part was tracing the chicken and trying to add details such as feathors and the tail

5. Based on the learning target, "Apply refined observation and drawing skills in adobe illustrator to create a t-shirt design with a visual metaphor " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I would say meet because i didn't do anything to exceed expectations and also i wasn't extremely creative with my design
