Identity Collage
Project Summary
1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop. Use complete sentences.
First I added a bunch of images that I thought represent me in some way. Then from there I narrowed it down to the ones I liked the most and fit in the most.I first added in a background of my home city an then added in the USA flag, along with an eagle and blended the images with soft light. Most of images I used soft light filters and layer masks to help remove unwanted space.
2. Define the terms as they relate to Photoshop: Blend modes, layer masks and adjustment layers. Give a specific example of how you used each of these in your identity collage.
Blend modes helps change the lighting and opacity on images like I used on face in the backgrounds.
Layer masks help remove unwanted space without completely destroying the image
Adjustment layers allow you to adjust the height, width, size ect. of an image as I did with my eagle picture.
3. How does your college represent your identity? What specific images did you use and what do they represent about you?
My college represents me because it highlights a lot of my interests and hobbies as well as my personality such as the "I got that Dawg in Me" photo.
4. What was successful in your project? What was unsuccessful and what would you do differently next time to solve this problem?
I think the design and use of my face and body went extremely well, but next time I wish to use more tools and to experiment more with my project.
5. Based on the learning target, what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I believe it meets the learning target. The only reason I don't think it exceeds is just because I didn't use any clipping masks in this project
