Logos & Branding

Business Card

Conclusion Questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your logo in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes and keyboard commands as possible.

My First step in this process was adding multiple sketches that I had beforehand and experiment with different logos and designs.I eventually decided to go with this logo which first step was to add a simple black circle with the Ellipse tool, filing the inside white.I then put two fully white circles on each side of the circle to give the effect of two curved lines,I then used the star tool and added in the red stars on top. Finally I added in my initials using the text tool and choosing a font I liked. From there I created outlines on the letters so I could adjust shape them at my will.

2. What is a cut line? Why is it important to add when making t-shirt designs, stickers, etc.

A cut line is the line around the piece you want printed out,so the printer can be able to read it and cut the image out.It is import when making designs because without the cutline the specific image or label will not be cut out by itself but will include the background or surrounding area as well.

3. What is branding? How can you use it to market yourself when looking for a job?

Branding is the identity of a brand or the way your brand is presented or advertised to people. You can use it for a job opportunity by showing workplace what you and your brand has to offer for there company which can be as simple as a business card or a good resume.

" what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I believe my project meets the learning target because I believe that I did everything asked of me to the highest efficiency plus I put extra details and worked hard on this project.
